How Does No Deposit Car Rental Work in Abu Dhabi?
No-deposit car rental in Abu Dhabi allows eligible international visitors to rent without providing Al Hurr’s standard AED 1,500 refundable deposit. Instead, approved renters pay AED 35 per day, capped at a non-refundable AED 350. The option is unavailable to GCC residents and remains subject to approval by the driver, vehicle, and booking. It does not remove responsibility for traffic fines, DARB tolls, fuel, additional mileage, damage or other rental charges. Renters should review insurance, mileage, delivery, VAT, and return conditions before booking, and ensure the deposit-free option is clearly shown in their final quotation.
