Under Al Hurr’s published Terms and Conditions, the standard deposit is AED 1,500 and is normally reserved for 30 days after return. Applicable charges are settled before the balance is refunded through the original collection method. Bank fees or currency exchange differences may affect the amount received.
What Does “No Deposit” Actually Mean?
A deposit-free rental means the standard refundable deposit is not collected for an approved booking. A separate fee and eligibility conditions may apply.

- Additional mileage: Kilometers above the vehicle’s allowance are charged at the stated rate.

- Cleaning or smoking: Al Hurr’s current terms state an AED 150 charge, where applicable.
- Late returns: After Al Hurr’s two-hour grace period, an additional rental day may be charged.

Is Insurance Included with a No-Deposit Rental?
Al Hurr’s terms state that basic insurance is included. Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) may also be selected.
The AED 35 fee is not insurance and does not change liability in an accident. The signed agreement determines coverage, excess, and exclusions. If an accident or damage occurs, notify Al Hurr and the appropriate authorities immediately and obtain the required official report.
